May 13th, 2023

Each Spring in Warsaw, an ancient species of fish, known as paddlefish or spoonbill, make their annual swim upriver to spawn. As the oldest living animal in North America, the spawning run is a symbol of renewal, and life for the small riverfront community of Warsaw Missouri. This year, in the spoonbill capital of the world, there are more than fish in the waters at Warsaw. Join paddlers from across the region as they compete in this fast and fun 2-mile paddle sprint to the finish.
